Welcome to the New World,

The new school year is finally upon us and we couldn’t be more excited. After nine months of carefully planning, the Renewable World Foundation is finally ready to launch as the 2008-09 school year begins.

Over the summer, we restructured our board of directors to include several talented individuals focused on seeing the foundation succeed. Our fundraising committee organized the Inaugural Renewable World Foundation Golf Scramble & Fundraiser, a two-weekend event in August.

We would like to thank the golfers, the host courses (Nettle Creek Country Club and Two Oaks North Golf Club) and the sponsors. We were able to raise over $7,000.00 as a result of the two events and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year. Click here to view a complete list of sponsors.

The curriculum committee has also been hard at work over the summer. We used state learning standards from Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin to develop a curriculum which will help our students learn about energy and environmental conservation in new and exciting ways.
